Kimberland Anderson, M.D.
In order to provide the best care, the physician and patient have to work together.
Kimberland Anderson, M.D., knew at a young age that she wanted to become a doctor. As a 9-year-old she helped care for her grandmother after knee surgery. “She told me I would be a wonderful doctor someday – and that stayed with me always.”
Her love of medicine only grew as she became older. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her residency through the Advocate Christ Family Medicine Residency Program in Hometown, Illinois. “When I was in medical school, I loved treating the whole person and understanding the intricate family dynamics which can affect health.”
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Anderson treats patients of all ages and enjoys the balance of managing chronic conditions, acute care and preventive care. “I listen to the concerns of my patients; use my knowledge base and clinical impression to discuss the next best step in care and management while identifying any potential barriers that may affect that management. I look forward to getting to know the community and providing care through a lasting relationship.”
