Richard H. Strawsburg, MD
Dr. Strawsburg, an Associates in Neurology sleep lab physician, earned his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1981 and went on to continue his work in Engineering by earning an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Ohio State University. He then went on to medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati and Residency in Neurology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was Chief Resident of Neurology in 1993.
Dr. Strawsburg completed a Fellowship in Epilepsy and Neurophysiology, completing his training in 1995. From 1995 to 2003, he was Director of the Video EEG monitoring unit at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He joined Associates in Neurology in 2003. Dr. Strawsburg is board certified in Neurology by the ABPN as well as board certified in Sleep Medicine and Neurophysiology.
He is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Society of Neuroimaging, and American Epilepsy Society.
